When the board was started it was anticipated that businesses
would receive free advertising in return for actively participating on the board.
However with an increasing number of businesses this is either not possible because
of time constraints or simply because they do not wish to be involved on a day to day basis.
As was probably to be expected we have also seen a marked increase in the number of business
adverts.
For this reason Commercial Advertising will no longer be permitted on the forum.
However we will very shortly be introducing a directory of businesses including shops, services and
property related sites etc. Businesses who wish to sponsor the board will be allowed to
place a listing which will include - Business Name, Description, Web Address, Location,
Email, Tel etc.
The directory will be linked directly to the Stores & Services section of the forum and will
offer visitors a quick & intuitive directory of shops and services located in or serving the Eastern part
of Cyprus. Searchable by Category or Keywords this will replace the need to visit several different
threads for such information.
Sponsorship will be for a nominal amount and cover a fixed period of one year. Monies collected
will go towards the now increased running costs of the forum.
