| Hello there,
Iam coming to Ayia Napa for the weeked on Friday.
Can someone recomend a hotel where I can stay.
I would be out most of the day and night, I just need a place to sleep during the night and take a bath and for things like that.
I would like the hotel to be close to the tourist area and not too expensive.
Can someone suggest something suitable.
Thanks. |

| Something like the Anmaria Hotel on Nissi Beach might be in order. It's about 10 mins walk from the square / McDonalds |

| Hi,
I used to stay at the Simos Magik - there was two with the same name
- one was near the square and the other on Nissi Avenue right on the
beach - which is the one I stayed at. It was cheap and cheerful and
in a great location. It was however a few years ago so it might have
changed now but here is a link I found for you:

| We've just returned from 2 nights in Ayia Napa approx 2 hours ago!
We took my stepson (17yrs) and his friend for their first experience of nights out in Napa.....
We stayed at the Anthea Apts on Nissi Beach Ave - about 100m from the end of the road that takes you either left to the Square or right to the harbour.
We booked 2 x 1 bed apts directly with Olympic Holidays website. They were classed as 4* and rated as an A Class property by the CTO. To be quite frank - they were neither. But in a great location as to be far enough from the noise but close enough to all facilities.
They put us in 2 rooms in the annexe originally and I would have been hard pushed to rate them as 2*. One room smelled so much of cigarettes that you had to cut your way through it the other was in danger of electricuting you if you touched the bedroom light switch.
Anyway, we went straight back to reception and stood our ground for almost an hour until we were given the correct room types in the main building. These rooms were fine, much bigger than the originals we were given and although basic, they were clean. Still nowhere near an A Class or 4* rating.
However, when we checked out at lunchtime today, the lady in charge of the reservations came to us and gave us her card with her name and phone number.
If we want to go again - we will certainly phone her directly and book through her.
We couldn't fault the location. It had 3 swimming pools, a large bar & restaurant and a small coin operated laundrette. For 2 or 3 nights it's ideal.
The complex is now full of 18 to 25yr olds who all come in after the clubs close in the early hours. We got woken around 6am by them coming back and jumping in the pool but after 15 mins or so, they all toddled off to bed. That was the only noise we heard.
What we did find funny though, was there were a number of deaf people staying in the hotel and yesterday morning one of the ladies was having a good laugh at something but of course she was laughing out loud and woke a lot of those up who had only been in bed about 3 hours or so. |
