If I don't vote I feel I have no right to complain, however, I can't stand any of the three main ones. Clegg and Cameron look like slimey brothers and Brown has been making a right mess of it all.

With the %ages shown it has no significance to the actual event. Just goes to show the meaning of "DAFT". No, i didn't vote as i don't live in GB now.(my reason for editing)

That's the problem Deanna, as many people can't make up their own mind.

Bring back golden boy Tony !
If I were a rich man with no conscience I'd vote Tory.If I were a dreamer I'd vote Lib Dem........................ Looks like I'm stuck with boring but determined Gordon !
If the Tories manage to 'con' the masses yet again, they'll become so unpopular that they won't get in again for a generation.
Hung parliament for me............... the lot of 'em !

I wasn't aware that the Liberal Democrats were anti-immigration as a whole, nor was I aware they were a bunch of racist bigots, nor was I aware that among their core membership were a bunch of terrorists and criminals but then again I have not taken much notice of them as a threat and scourge to society. Mind you, when both the Conservative and Labour candidates in a Gloucester constituency refused to share the hustings with a BNP candidate last week the LD one didn't so you could be right. At least the local vicar when the campaign moved there refused to even let the BNP candidate in. :D

You could say the same about the Liberal Democrat followers...so your point is?

Are the 7 BNP supporters people who have property they can't sell so want to be chucked out of Cyprus with repatriation I wonder?

Keith I don't think UKIP oppose Ex-pats wanting to live in another country do they? I only thought they wanted out of the EU and to strongly curb imigration, I stand to be corrected

I don't think UKIP have any stated position on people leaving the country, but they certainly want the country leaving the EU. As with any (dare I say 'bigoted'??) political party, they conveniently overlook the advantages brought to British citizens through EU membership - such as the right to live and work in other EU countries.
Being out of the EU would mean British people would have no automatic right to live and work in Cyprus, or any other EU country. Should they so wish, those EU countries could deport the hundreds of thousands of UK nationals back to Blighty. Any British national wishing to live in 'Paralimni one day', who did not have any right through family, marriage or employment, would have to give up on that dream in a non-EU Britain.
I recall several deportations of Brits from Cyprus back in the 1990s, including one woman who'd lived here for about 18 years. It was discovered she was not actually married to the Cypriot man she lived with.

Hi Guys, When I made the Poll I included all of the political parties in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, only problem is that when I hit the "Submit" button, that the Forum programing doesn't allow for that many options. Sorry.

That is one of the great myths!!
If one lives in a constituency where any particular party has a majority in the tens of thousands, and has had since Adam was a lad, and you support their opponents, it is a complete waste of time venturing out to vote!
And so, should you choose not bother, why on earth should it mean that you are denied the right to complain about the decisions that any subsequent government goes on to make!!!!?

I don't live in Cyprus. Don't even have a property there. I live in the UK and have a property on The Pellion. It's just the OH who's got the property in Cyprus.
