Hi, Well here's one straight from the "strange things you see" book  This morning whilst on my way to get the paper I noticed a van pass me with a flat open back. In the back was what looked like a collie tied via a lead to the frame of the van. The van was going a little fast and decided to quickly slow down as it approached a mini-roundabout. To our shock the dog is catapulted out of the back of the van - still attached via its lead and is now trying to keep up on it's hind legs to save itself being choked. After a 10-15 yards and with the dog trying to jump up to the passenger window ( and getting banged against the side) and me and others running after the van it finally stopped. The driver got out scooped the dog up - didn't check it - but put it back into the back of the van and drove off quickly  I was so shocked I didn't even get his reg number :( People like him should be banned from keeping animals! Cheers Steve

Well I think that dog owner should be tethered by his unmentionables to a formula one car being driven around brands hatch by Micheal Schumacca. I'd pay to watch that!! Ruth
