Hi there Thought this was funny - Radio Napa  Dead air after toilet blunder RADIO NAPA went off the air for 20 minutes on Monday after one of the presenters became trapped in the toilet, the online Famagusta Gazette reported yesterday. It said radio host Chris Yearley found himself in a tricky situation when he was trapped in the station toilet during his broadcast. Listeners heard 20 minutes of silence on Radio Napa, as Yearley attempted to break free after the door handle broke, said the online paper. Speaking to the Gazette, Yearley said, I had no phone, everybody had gone to lunch and things got worse when I heard the radio go silent. He eventually managed to smash the door down with a speaker tripod and continued his programme. Copyright Cyprus Mail 2008 What I want to know is what was speaker tripod doing in the toilet :? May

Can see the tabloid ( if they had them in Cyprus ) headlines now................ "DJ involved in sex scandal with speaker tripod"........................... What surprised me was that they were off the air for twenty minutes and someone noticed................................it happens all the time !!!!! I heard that the speaker tripod was unavailable for comment ...........................

Sorry, have to ask... Why on Earth was there a speaker tripod in the toilet? Unless, of course RW's sex scandal theory is correct

Easy - if you don't have speakers on a tripod you lose the bass response.
Don't know what the speakers are doing in the bog though.
