| Nature knows best by stopping allowing women to have babies around the 40s age group. After that it is just not fair on the children to be hampered with "old" parents when they are only young. Having had my children when I was young I now have six Grandchildren and when the eldest was born 12 years ago when I was 48 I minded him whilst his parents worked and found it no trouble at all. Now at 60 much as the heart may be willing the flesh is weak and I could not handle a small baby full time now and certainly not night feeds. Children need young folk to run around with them and have lots of energy to cope. Mind you I still love to spend time with the six of them and read to them and all such things but it is lovely to hand them back as well. Poor children now left and I hope someone cares for them very well. |

| Why do you think this woman decided to have a baby at 66? I think it was probably the same reason that I decided to have children in my 20's...I wanted them! Am I selfish? Yes!! I thought it would enhance my life, I wanted a baby to love and a baby that would love me, thankfully I have three and hope that I will spend many more years enjoying them...it was all for me!!! There's your answer! Both you and your children (God willing), have some 40 odd years head start on these children. Cheers, Jinty |
