If you have seen the film The World's fastest Indian then maybe you should do what Burt Munro did. Pee'd round his tree every day. lol. Paul.

Some people put it around the base of the tree then water it in. I put one table spoon of epsom salts in a 5 ltr watering can and give a third to each tree. Do this once a month. I do it at the beginning of the month for ease of remembering. One week later i feed them with plant food or put fertilizer around the base of the plant and when you water it it dissolves into the ground Steve

how much epsom salts should you feed them ? and how often?

Ther is not enough acid in the soil or compost so feed lemon and orange trees with epsom salts. I have a bumper crop of oranges and lemons this year Steve

Can you grow a lemon tree in a very large pot or has it got to be in a ground?

My lemon tree is in a large pot but i did put in on earth and it has now rooted itself through. But the simple answer is yes.

Hi, My lemon tree has lots of lemons on but they are green and not changing, been on there a long time now. The question is should I remove them, can use them green, and would newer ones grow after if I did. Thanks Sue

They're fine to use green. there are several varieties of lemon, one type produces several crops a year, other just one, so depends on which breed you have as to whether you'll get more fruit before next year.

Hi, I know absolutely nothing about gardening, but my neighbour has a lemon tree and she says they go yellow in about october until march. Carolyn
