Wow, thanks for putting this up. that is a great price, in fact it is a lot cheaper than the 2 week new year cruise we are doing later this month :) We are visiting St Kitts on Jan 1st, Antigua on Jan 7th and St Lucia on Jan 8th. Never sailed with Marella (or Thomson) but would love to give it a go, the only downside for us is the number of sea days, we have done a couple of TA`s with P&O but we did not like the amount of days at sea. Something for us to consider though as it really looks brilliant value for money :)

This will be our 4th T.A. repositioning cruise, previous ones were with Costa.
These are always good value, we actually like the days at sea as you are relaxing more and making more use of the facilities, time to make more friends, and of course you spend less.(Best bit)
The advantage of this cruise is that you can buy what you want ashore and not worry about the weight as in ends at Limassol.
The flight by the way is on the Thomson Dreamliner.

Hi Ray, we are going on a two week cruise around the Caribbean next March (it would have been there weeks but as DAC observed a few days ago, times are getting hard!  ) sailing on the MSC Preziosa, out of and back to Barbados.
Would be very grateful if on your return you could post any advice and tips about what to do - and what to avoid - on all the individual islands. :D

No problem, I have a booklet prepared by a guy called Peter Dagnall that has loads of info on the ports we are visiting, we find them invaluable. If you want I can email a copy to you, it may not be all the same ports of call but there should be some on there that you are visiting. I will also update you if any of the info has changed or there is something to add. According to D*C we should be lucky just putting food on the table :) Enjoy your cruise :)

Been on the dreamliner a few times, it`s a really nice plane but IMHO not worth all the hype it receives, personally we prefer the Airbus A330 and we specifically requested TC this time so we are on the A330 :) After our last TA we both said that in the future it had to be cruises that were port intensive..

A great cruise, although a full 6days at sea on the Celebration may be a bit much....we are booked on the dream just on a Limassol Med trip...you will love the Dreamliner...if you can...upgrade to premium...it is worth it. We died the Discovery 2 out of Jamaica in March this year, 14 nights, and Dreamliner premier class..a really making cruise...Marella are the best value by far.

Very good and helpful advice from everyone. Thank you.

We did a transatlantic cruise last year on Celebrity, the sea was smooth so had a great crossing . We called in to Boston , New York, Bermuda and Bahamas and then into Miami. We loved the sea days there was so much to do or as little as you wanted. In April 2020 we will be doing a 15 night cruise around Hawaii it may seem a long way off but cabins are booking up and itís only 14 months . Enjoy your cruise , they are wonderful .

We love the days at sea as well, the good thing about doing the transatlantic cruises from the Caribbean is that they cross Mid Ocean which is very Caribbean like weather wise.
We have cruised well over 20 times now.
When I was a Travel Agent I used to look down on the Thomson Cruises with scorn, but since I retired we have done 5 Cruises with them on the Spirit. Lets just say I was wrong and very surprised.

Totally agree about upgrading to Premium Economy, always do this regardless of plane or company if seats are available. The good thing is you would only have to do it one way :)
