The guy is 90+. That gives him leeway to say pretty much whatever he likes...And he always did. Respect

I've met him 3 times over the course of a 30 year Forces career and have always found him to be a nice guy. He has this "impish" sense of humour which is obviously what gets him into hot water now-and-then: so what?

I think that any "red-blooded" male who tried unzipping that dress would be arrested, apart from her husband of course.

Alan, I think she would be arrested if she unzipped her own dress.

Is this 'Phil the Greek' who is, alledgedly part of the Battenburg family? Respect? Maybe he should respect the people who are funding his lavish lifestyle.

Oh Really! Any other 90 year old who said this type of thing where I live would be classed as 'a dirty old man'.
'Respect', I think not!

Thank you for giving me a laugh. I read a book where the Queen Mother was alledged to have disapproved of the marriage to her daughter. Maybe it was because of the alledged connections to the SS brought up at Diana's inquest. Having lived near Beaulieu, in the New Forest, and not far from the Mountbattens' Romsey Estate, I have certain opinions, as did my late husband , that I don't have the courage to air.
