| Hello Sarah Welcome to the board Yes my daughter used to use the board but as we no longer have the kids section she spends all her time on MSN Chat and My Space My kids always found it hard to get chatting face to face! Steve:- Why cant we have the kids sectionback?? Speak Soon Jo |

Hi Jo, As you may remember we had a kids section on the old MSN forum. Unfortunately we had a few dodgy members sign up and some of the questions posted to the kids were dubious to say the least. In one instance there was a definate possibility that a person trying to arrange a meet up with some older children was an adult pretending to be a teenager. Whilst I don't like the thought of a few bad apples spoiling it for the rest I didn't like the responsibility of something happening to the kids either. Obviously it was also very difficult & time consuming to monitor and ensure the kids were actually kids and that was also a problem. I don't have an issue with children posting with their parents knowledge and monitoring but think that a specific children section may unfortunately attract the undesirables again. HTH Cheers Steve |
