Hi All Having a lovely time in Kapparis. In the middle of a heatwave and much much warmer than this time last year. Had a lovely time on a meet up with Angie R and her sisters. I have also met Aerionne Anne and her family who are busy sorting out their house. You will catch me usually round the Karas pool and my kids are wearing their Cyprus Eastern T Shirts  Bye for now. P.s have been bitten badly by those darned mozzies again.

Nice one, Balconia! Any problems with getting sunbeds at the Karas pool yet? What's the complex like? Any news? PM or email me please. Marion

Hi Carol Got bck last night. Sorry we didn't get to see you again before you left - we had severely miscalculated the amount of time it would take us to get the house organised. Had meant to get to the footie at Karas on Saturday, but the day just passed in a blur of putting up blinds and cleaning!! It was lovely to meet you and the family and I do hope that your bites are clearing up (did you try the vinegar? - since Nick's been on his first aid course, he thinks he can cure anything)! Anne

Hi Anne, Do you have any pics, would love to see your progress!! Ruth

try eating marmite, to stop being eaten alive, apparantley when its in your system an odour is released from your skin (like garlic) and the little bleeders dont like the whif, works for me. Tracey. enjoy! x

Hi Tracey, I heard of this one 2 years ago. I ate marmite on toast till it came out of my ears for two months before I went to Cy...(You either love it or hate it..lol) didn't make a blind bit of difference, I was bitten to pieces. Then I found Avon SSS woodland fresh. Works a treat for me!!!! Came home with just 2 bites from the night I forgot to use it. Ruth

Anne I was sorry not to say goodbye but i knew you had plenty to sort out , not to worry. Ref to marmite - i eat garlic by the bucketful and mozzies aren't supposed to like that but they still like me  Sorry Anne didn't try the vinegar, thought it would sting !! Anyway most bites healed now thank goodness....... until next time

oh well never mind, body butter might work (body shop- coconut- yummy) they cant get a grip on you :!: anythings worth a try i suppose Tracey x

Hi Ruth I'm just about to post some photos of the house. I have to say that I absolutely love it and couldn't bear to leave and come back here to the same old. Take a look at my photos in a few minutes. Anne

Hi Anne, I can't find anything in the albums. Did you have trouble loading them? Ruth

Posted By: Aerionanne

It did take a while Ruth, but look in my personal photo album, I've loaded 3 photos there, although I've got about 80! Anne

Posted By: kipper889

Hi Anne, I found them... Your place looks great, I can see why you didn't want to come home!! Ruth

Posted By: Aerionanne

Thanks Ruth. I can't seem to take as good photos as Joe - his always look far superior to mine, but these are okay. I'm so happy with the build and it's actually far nicer than I envisaged. Obviously there were a few minor snags but these were/are being dealth with swiftly. Will be over for 4 and a bit weeks in July/August and can't wait. Anne
