| Hi all,
Has to be the poorest Christmas for UK TV  Get a bit of time
off and there's nothing worth watching on the box :(
Will have to get Sky when we move :!:

| Hi Steve
Have to agree. We've been catching up with stuff we've recorded on Sky Plus.
Unfortunately the lack of telly also means I've become rather addicted to one of the card games on my new laptop - damn thing never lets me win

| I agree it has been hopeless. We played cards last night because there was nothing that we wanted to watch on the television. Very poor indeed.|

| Must agree Steve, the TV was dire over the two days, I only found a few programmes to record.
Just sat this morning watching all three xmas episodes of eastenders. Although depressing, I think the acting was really good, I even cried at one point.....how sad am I?
Did anyone watch Noels christmas presents on sky? I sobbed the whole way through. :(

| I am not a big tv lover although I do like to get the box sets of some of the series that are show when they have finished (usually when they have been finished a year or so and the price has dropped).
I guess I am too impatient to wait a week at a time for the next episode. I did get some decent DVD's to watch and tonight its between Shrek 3 and Spiderman 3 as friends of ours cancelled at the last moment, we were all meant to be going out but I don't mind as I did not really fancy it anyway |

| Well we didnt watch any T V this christmas, never had time with the kids, family etc....
It was actually really nice, no depressing christmas soap specials!

Monsters Inc, fantasticly funny, rescreen every year please :D .
Not to bothered about the repeats, and the old films are classics; its the fact that we have to endure hour long 'specials' of those brain washing, mind numbing and life sucking soaps, eastenders, Corrie and Emerdale :x .

| It gets worse each year. Thank goodness for the PVR... we have two - one for me and one for Mike/us. We now watch programmes when we want to watch them.
Ruth... I do so miss the Christmas morning presents programmes... that started my day for so many years, while sipping on real Bucks Fizz. My FIL tried to record it but failed, and I missed the repeat on Sky 3. I would have had tears rolling down my cheeks too.
