Hi james+mel, ive been told that cars are more expensive in cyprus than the uk. with the quote u have given on the top end of 7K cyprus pounds which is equal to 9K sterling. The going rate for this car is 14K in britain which is a 5 k cheaper in cyprus. Now im confused lol. thanks for ur reply ian

Prices vary according to make/model. A Cypriot neighbour went to London to buy 2 Mercedes for his kids because they were cheaper. If he'd wanted a small Ford, Malta would have been his best bet, apparently. As Cyprus is a much smaller market you may have difficulty in finding a price for a particular make/model/year/mileage. Also don't forget they don't put salt on the roads here so cars tend to last longer (if they're not written off by a lunatic driver).
