Just curious - what is an American fridge/freezer? :? Being an American I didn't know that we had special fridges/freezers, except for the electrical issue. Roseanne

Roseanne I think we brits called them 'American' as we saw them first in America, but really they are side by side fridge freezers of which I think America has the biggest! the european ones are a little smaller. I have one here but bought it over from the UK as it was cheaper then, I think the prices in Cyprus for them have come down a little. Its a Samsung model so set up for tropical climate and works perfectly, for two years now. Removal men hate them by the way, can,t think why :roll:

Ah, the mystery is solved. I know what side-by-side refrigerators are. My sister has one. She hates it and she is not a mover. Thanks Roseanne
