We all get wiser as we grow older:- The Press Assoc and the BBC reported today that TV Presenters Ant and Dec admitted having taken drugs in the past. But would not do so now. Ant (Anthony Mc Partlin, 37) said he had always voted Labour, but at the 2010 General Election had voted Conservative. He was brought up on a Newcastle-upon-Tyne Council Estate. He said his family would be cross at his revelation, but he had NO regrets, as the Labour Govt had bankrupt he country whilst in power. Geoff

Well that is me converted, if it is alright for Ant it's alright for me !!!!! This very often happens when people who have had nothing suddenly have it all by either doing very little or being lucky...........Think it is called having a short memory :) :(

No mate!! On a previous thread you got it wrong when you said that Labour sold off the oil, until you were corrected by devil, you said then you were confused. Someone else got it wrong about Gordon Brown selling off the Gold.

I don't think of 37 as being very old anyway. And who is this Ant to be held up as a shining example? Didn't they used to present Sat morning kids progs in the UK.

Posted By: scottie

Exactly who is he to be held up as an example. Not exactly Bertrand Russel material. In other words ......who cares who Ant voted for?

But as I stated we never had our own Gold, we bought it and sold it at a huge profit, you can also buy it back and re-sell, but too have your own oil and sell it off when it's gone it's gone.
Keep taking the drugs.!!

I read Steve's post as quering if there was any correlation between them taking drugs DURING A PERIOD Of LABOUR GOVERNMENT, who they had voted for, and subsequently voting Conservative.
Did I read it incorrectly perhaps?
